Has anyone tried juicing whole mangoes in an X-1? Does it work well, or does the pit need to removed?
Hey @TheJuiceBoxLV ! So I find anything from a cherry pit and larger needs to be removed. For products that kind of mash when you squeeze them like mangos, papayas etc. Typically they are expensive and when juiced do not yield too much due to their texture. A great way I have found is, say it’s a mixed recipe I would juice everything but the mangos, then peel, de-seed the mangos and place in blender. On slow speed blend adding the juice until it becomes smooth, then pour that into the rest of the juice. I do that with berries sometimes as well, once it’s thinned out with the juice, it’s easy to pass through a strainer as well. BTW congrats on the truck! Thing looks awesome, I gotta swing by soon!
